18th Biennial Convention Postponed to Late Spring 2021
Brothers and Sisters,
The pandemic continues to affect our families and our workplaces, as well as our Union’s business. After significant internal discussion, we have decided to once again postpone our 18th Biennial Convention in Houston.
In light of the public health crisis and the potential to have the Convention canceled due to events outside our control, rescheduling it now is the best course of action. Therefore, the August dates are canceled. We don’t have new confirmed dates at this time, but we are working to secure new dates in late spring 2021. We will share more information as soon as we have it.
- If you currently have a hotel reservation at the Marriott Marquis in our room block for the August 2020 dates, there is no need to call the hotel to cancel your reservation. All hotel reservations in our room block are being canceled.
- Once the new dates are confirmed, we will send more information out about making new hotel reservations.
- Please don’t change anything with your current Convention registration at this time. In the coming days we will provide a link that will allow registrants to easily reschedule or cancel their registration online.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to protect our Union and its members during these unprecedented times.
