RETURN TO WORK BRIEFING: GATING CRITERIA
On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, the Agency briefed NATCA regarding the gating criteria and the data that the Agency uses to analyze COVID-19 related information, and to strategically decide when the next return to work phase will commence within each of the Agency’s worksites. The Agency began the briefing by sharing a dashboard it created, which populates data from three external sources about COVID-19 infection rates by each state and each county. The data itself contains several important statistical metrics and benchmarks that the Agency references to determine when moving to the next phase of returning to normal work operations should begin. NATCA ensured that it received a thorough explanation of the gating criteria and the dashboard to establish that it did not adversely impact BUEs. NATCA will appropriately follow up with the Agency, which promised to provide additional clarification and information during the briefing.
