OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL, ROAD TO RECOVERY PHASES 1 AND 2 BRIEFING
On December 15, 2020, the Agency briefed NATCA regarding its plans to implement and to disseminate the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Road to Recovery Plans for the Agency’s Office of General Counsel (AGC), which documents the Line of Business’s (LOB) procedures and protocol as it moves towards Phase 1 and then Phase 2. Critically, the LOB’s Road to Recovery Plans for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 involve no changes from what is happening presently and will not cause an impact on NATCA’s bargaining unit employees (BUEs). The LOB will continue to maximize all telework opportunities and has no plans to bring NATCA BUEs back into the physical workspace. NATCA requested a briefing immediately to confirm that there would be no impact on NATCA BUEs and no upcoming impact to their working conditions.
NATCA will monitor the Agency’s data and decision-making within the Office of General Counsel, and will ensure that, on the local level, NATCA has a role in collaborating and addressing any arising issues.
